LVW is open to anyone with a dedication to writing and a love of the written word. Our mission firmly states, “Open to all who make writing a part of their life,” and we stand by that. You don’t have to be published to join, and you don’t have to be a Vermont resident. We are low-key and low-maintenance, a perfect place to get started if you are looking for a writing community, and a great organization to continue as a member if your wish is to advance into publication or some professional capacity as a writer.

• Each member has a password protected login to the website to manage their dues, update their profile and more..
• Members receive discounted rates to attend our programs and events.
• They have access to terrific networking and community-building opportunities.
• Members have special avenues for promoting their work such as:
  • Displaying published books at LVW events or other events where LVW has a booth or table; and
  • Sharing publishing accomplishments via the Leagues Newsletter, League Lines.

  Our membership rates are very affordable, and becoming a member is easy!

    We Have Three Types Of Membership:

• Individual Annual Membership $45.00
• Family Annual Membership $75.00 (Two people with the same mailing address)
• Student Annual Membership $30.00 (For full-time students only please)
  • At the student rate, you not only get the reduced annual membership fee but also reduced members' prices for our programs and events.
  • You will be asked to show a current student ID when you attend events with a student discount.
